Our professional delivery personnel will, for a minimal stop charge, carefully inspect your purchase, prepare it, deliver it to your home and set it in place. (Mattress deliveries are free with a minimum purchase. See a sales associate for details.) There is only one delivery charge regardless of the number of items delivered to a single address. You will be called the day prior to delivery and notified of the estimated time (90 min. window) your delivery will be made.
We need your help to assure the smoothest and most efficient delivery. If you need to reschedule your delivery date from that specified on your original sales order or pre-arranged once your merchandise is available, call us 24 hours ahead. Your order is prepared and loaded in advance. Failure to provide a 24 hour notice will result in a reschedule fee equal to your delivery charge. Driver will wait a maximum of 15 minutes from arrival, before their departure from your home and subsequently the reschedule fee will apply.
If you will not be home at the time of delivery please make arrangements with our delivery department. Options include having a neighbor or building manager accept the delivery or having the driver call you one hour before delivery so you can be there.
Please have your home ready for delivery.
Remove any furniture, accessories, breakable objects or obstructions from the delivery path and room or area where your purchase is to be placed. Measure one last time where the item is to be placed to make sure it will fit (both the space and the path to reach the space). Pay particular attention when purchasing large mattresses and box springs. For safety reasons, we are unable to remove shoes when entering your home. If you have a concern with dirt, snow or mud being tracked in, please put something down on your floor to protect it.
We cannot deliver accessory items such as pictures, lamps and mirrors. Our trucks are not equipped to ensure safe, damage free delivery of these items. Please take your accessory items with you on the date of purchase.

Design Furniture Outlet & Consignment in Clearwater, offers you the opportunity to pick up your furniture at our store located at 1928 Gulf to Bay Blvd. Please call one hour ahead to assure that your item will be ready. See a sales associate for details and pick-up hours.
We are pleased to assist you in loading your merchandise. However, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the load is secure. We are not responsible for damage once the merchandise has left the premises.
We do not provide towing/securing materials, including but not limited to rope, tie-downs or pads and blankets.
Consignment Pickups - Getting Merchandise To The Store
There is a charge for pickup based on your proximity to the store, difficulty of the pickup (stairs, tight turns, heavy pieces) and the number of movers required.
If you have scheduled a pickup, you will pay the fee up front when you schedule the pickup. In the event the furniture is refused (not picked up) due to conditions which make it unsalable such as dirty, broken, etc., pickup fees still apply and will be collected as described above.
If you opt to bring your furniture to Design Furniture Outlet & Consignment, we will be happy to assist you with your unloading. Drop offs must be scheduled in advance.
